Processing fees

Pass the cost of credit card processing on to the members who pay by credit card. Set a percentage and FLiiP adds it to eligible credit card payments, recurring ones included, as a separate line the member sees before confirming and on the invoice. Available on FLiiP Payments.

Why it matters

  • Card processing costs stop coming out of your margin, a standard practice for US gyms
  • The fee adjusts to the card used, online or on the terminal, so debit and prepaid cards are never charged and no one calculates it by hand

Overdue fees

When a planned payment fails or a balance stays unpaid, FLiiP now charges the fee for you. Set a first decline fee, then a recurring overdue fee with its own amount, interval, and maximum number of charges, on membership and service contracts, by credit card or direct debit.

Why it matters

  • Recover revenue from failed and unresolved payments without your staff chasing anyone
  • Every fee in the sequence shows in the member's payment history and links back to the original transaction, so anyone at the front desk can explain a charge in seconds

Front desk upgrades

Three updates that save your team time. Registration forms now take up to six custom fields, cancelled appointments record a reason, and payment and waiver alerts show which location they belong to.

Why it matters

  • Collect what your gym needs at sign-up, like an emergency contact, as free text, a dropdown, or an image, instead of chasing it at the front desk later
  • See why appointments get cancelled, in the member's visit history and in a dedicated cancellation report
  • Staff at one club know right away when a balance or an unsigned waiver belongs to another club, on the check-in page and the member profile

Analytics apps

Advanced Analytics can now build apps, not just dashboards. Instead of a page of charts someone has to interpret, you get an interactive tool built around one job: a retention review, a front desk sales tracker, a monthly numbers pack for your ownership group.

Why it matters

  • A dashboard shows what happened. An app walks the person through what to do about it, which is what makes the numbers land with staff who do not live in reports
  • Apps work best when they target one clear use case, so your customer success manager scopes and builds the first one with you instead of handing over a blank canvas

Share dashboards with your staff

Once you have built a dashboard, you can now share it with your team. Put the dashboard in a folder, give that folder to the people who should see it, and they open the same live numbers you do. No export, no screenshot pasted into a group chat.

Why it matters

  • Numbers that live only on the owner's screen do not change anything. Coaches and front desk staff see the metrics they actually influence, updated as the day goes
  • Access is managed by folder, so you decide who sees what and change it in one place instead of per dashboard

E-signature

Collect legally binding e-signatures on membership and service contracts, all within FLiiP, no external tools. Members read the contract, sign it, then pay, the same order as signing at the front desk.

Why it matters

  • A checked terms box is not a signature. E-signatures hold up legally, with an audit trail that records IP, device, and timestamp (ESIGN Act compliant in the US, eIDAS in Europe)
  • Signing happens inside FLiiP checkout, on web and on mobile, with no redirect to another tool, and every signed contract lands on the member profile

Day & Hour Passes

FLiiP now lets you create memberships with a duration in days or hours. A day pass stays valid for a set number of calendar days and expires at 11:59 PM on the last one; an hour pass runs for a rolling number of hours from the moment it is bought.

Why it matters

  • Offer short-term access without bending one-session packs into day passes
  • Keep your reporting accurate, without drop-ins inflating your active member count or skewing churn
  • Give occasional visitors a proper experience instead of a workaround
  • Sell passes through the Member App or your public sign-up page, with no front desk involved

Advanced Analytics

Build your own dashboards and reports on top of everything FLiiP already tracks, then ask questions in plain English and get charts back. No exports, no spreadsheet gymnastics.
