Switching is the easy part.
Most platforms hand you a CSV and wish you luck. We run the migration for you (members, billing history, and contracts) so your team goes live on prebuilt playbooks, not a blank setup screen.
- ABC
- Mindbody
- Spreadsheets
-
We map your current stack
On the demo we go capability-by-capability through what you run today, so nothing (members, plans, or open balances) gets left behind.
-
We migrate your data
Members, billing history, contracts, and active plans move over with white-glove onboarding. You review; we do the lifting.
-
Your team trains on real workflows
Staff activate prebuilt playbooks for onboarding, retention, and follow-up instead of configuring automations from a blank slate.

When to switch from Mindbody.
Mindbody is a great studio booking platform. It's a frustrating commercial-gym platform. The further your business gets from "studio that runs classes," the harder Mindbody is to operate.
Mindbody is good at
- Single-room boutique studios with 50–500 members
- Yoga, pilates, spin: class-first business models
- Marketplace lead generation through Mindbody.io
- Class-package and 10-class-pack monetization
Mindbody struggles with
- Commercial gym CRM & lead pipeline
- Open-floor 24/7 access models
- AI/predictive retention features
- Multi-location head-office grade reporting
- A branded member app under your name
When to switch from ABC.
ABC was the dominant platform for commercial gym billing for two decades. The product is mature, but the roadmap has stalled, and most operators have bolted on Gym Sales, Trainerize, or others to cover the gaps.
ABC is good at
- Recurring billing for commercial gyms (mature)
- Standardized chain-of-custody contracts
ABC struggles with
- Modern CRM & automation (drives Gym Sales bolt-on)
- PT module (drives Trainerize bolt-on)
- UX expectations of 2024 staff hires
- AI / predictive retention features
- Migration off ABC (rumored to be 6–12 months)
When to switch from Hapana.
Hapana is a capable all-in-one that courts large, multi-region franchise networks. At any size, that breadth often shows up as weight: a heavy rollout, a steep learning curve, and quote-based pricing you can't see until you're inside a sales cycle.
Hapana is good at
- Customizable reporting dashboards, improving fast
- A broad, all-in-one feature surface
- Built-in marketing and content tooling
Hapana struggles with
- Quote-based pricing, with setup fees not published upfront
- Heavy onboarding, especially for 1–2 sites
- A steep learning curve across a very broad feature set
- AI agents for retention, voice, and collections (none clearly published)
- Native personal training (relies on a Trainermetrics integration)
When to switch from a studio-first platform.
Glofox, Zen Planner, and Zenoti share one architectural assumption: the gym is a class scheduling problem. For a CrossFit box or a yoga studio, that's right. For an open-floor commercial gym with 1,500 members, it isn't.
Glofox
Modern UI, but class-booking-first. Limited CRM, no AI, member-app under their brand.
Switch when: you've outgrown class-booking-as-the-product and need real CRM & AI.
Zen Planner
CrossFit and martial arts focused. Limited multi-location, no AI, US-only payment processors.
Switch when: you grow past 2 locations or expand into Canada/Europe.
Zenoti
Enterprise spa/wellness vertical with real AI (call bot, churn predictor). Per-user pricing, months-long rollouts, weak on gym-floor operations.
Switch when: you're membership-based and want AI included at flat pricing, not billed per user.
Your software isn't listed?
We've moved gyms off dozens of systems: regional platforms, legacy desktop software, even spreadsheets. Members, contracts, billing history, and payment tokens come over the same way, with a dedicated specialist running the move.
Book a demo and we'll map the migration from whatever you run today.
FLiiP is not the right fit if…
- You run a single-room boutique studio under 100 members. Mindbody or Glofox will probably serve you better at lower cost.
- You operate outside North America and Europe. We don't have local support coverage in Asia-Pacific yet, so if you're running clubs in Australia or New Zealand, a regional platform will serve you better today.
- You need wellness/spa appointment booking as the core product. Zenoti or Mindbody is a better fit.
- Your team is hostile to change. Our migration is quick and fully supported, but it still requires team buy-in. We won't pretend otherwise.
See FLiiP next to your current setup.
On the demo we map your existing stack capability-by-capability and show you exactly which gaps FLiiP closes, and which it doesn't.
