Getting started with FLiiP
FLiiP is a smart gym management and CRM platform built for commercial gyms. It brings billing, a sales CRM, a branded member app, class booking, access control, and AI into one system, so you can grow revenue and keep members longer without running five disconnected tools. More than 1,000 gyms run on FLiiP, from independents to international multi-location operators.
FLiiP is built for commercial gyms, fitness clubs, and the studios and franchises around them. It fits single-location operators, multi-location operators, and franchises that need head-office control across every club. It is purpose-built for member growth and retention, not a generalist wellness tool stretched across spas and salons.
FLiiP replaces the patchwork of billing, CRM, app, and reporting tools most gyms bolt together with one connected platform. The difference is a built-in CRM, AI agents, and automated revenue recovery all working off a single member record, so nothing falls between the seams. See the platform overview for how it fits together.
No. FLiiP is designed for gym operators and front-desk teams, not IT departments. Onboarding is white-glove: our team migrates your data and configures your account, so your staff activate prebuilt playbooks instead of building them. Most teams are comfortable within days of going live.
FLiiP replaces the separate billing system, lead and CRM tool, communications stack, class and PT booking software, member app, and reporting spreadsheets most gyms juggle. Everything lives on one member record and one dashboard, which is how operators like Gold's Gym consolidated three platforms into one.
Features and platform
FLiiP is a full operating system for a gym: member management and check-in, a sales CRM with automation, payments and billing, a branded member app, class and PT scheduling, access control, in-person terminals, and reporting. AI agents and analytics sit on top. Explore each module on the platform page.
Yes. FLiiP gives your gym a branded member app with your logo, colors, and name in the app stores. Members book classes and PT, manage billing, update payment cards, and check in from their phone. Roughly 70% of routine changes become self-serve, which takes load off your front desk.
Yes. Members reserve, pay for, and check into classes and personal-training sessions from the branded app or your site, and staff manage the schedule from one dashboard. Bookings tie back to each member record and to attendance, so the schedule stays in sync with billing and check-in.
Yes. FLiiP supports key tags, dynamic QR codes, NFC tap, and facial recognition, and it is hardware-agnostic through partners like Gantner and Passport Technology. Access ties to billing status, so a member with a failed payment can be caught at the door instead of weeks later.
Yes. FLiiP supports card-present terminals at the front desk and POS, and every transaction syncs to the member record and payment log automatically. There is no separate card machine to reconcile by hand at the end of the day.
FLiiP gives you real-time dashboards for revenue, retention, attendance, and payment health, with rollups across locations and drilldowns into any single club. You can ask questions of your data in plain language and get an answer back, without exporting to a spreadsheet. See the intelligence layer for details.
AI and automation
Yes. FLiiP includes several AI agents built for gym operations: an AI receptionist that answers calls and books tours 24/7, an AI churn predictor that flags members likely to cancel, and analytics you can query in plain language. They run on your live data and trigger real follow-up, not just dashboards.
The AI receptionist answers the calls your front desk misses and books tours around the clock, even after hours. It picks up, answers common questions, and captures the lead, so prospects do not go to voicemail or to a competitor. It works alongside your team rather than replacing the human touch.
Yes. The AI Churn Predictor flags members likely to cancel before they do, ranks them by risk and revenue at stake, and explains why in plain language. It then triggers automated re-engagement so your team can step in early. Club MAA cut churn by 30% year over year on FLiiP.
Yes. FLiiP lets you ask questions the way you would ask a manager, like which members are most likely to cancel this month or how revenue trended by location, and get an answer from your live data. No spreadsheet exports and no rigid report templates.
No. The AI features are built into the platform and work out of the box. The churn predictor surfaces at-risk members automatically, the receptionist answers calls on its own, and analytics responds to plain-language questions. There is nothing to train, code, or configure.
Pricing and plans
FLiiP has published, flat pricing across three plans: Build, Perform, and Peak, plus a custom Enterprise agreement for large multi-location and franchise operators. Pricing scales with your gym's size, number of locations, and the modules you turn on. See the full breakdown on the pricing page or get a quote on your demo.
Yes. Plan pricing and payment-processing rates are published on the pricing page, not hidden behind a sales call. You see what a gym your size pays before you ever talk to us, a deliberate contrast to platforms that quote only after a discovery call.
No, and that is deliberate. Onboarding is a one-time fee, quoted upfront, that funds dedicated specialist hours for data migration, configuration, and team training. It is a small investment that gets your gym live correctly, not a free do-it-yourself setup. Your demo includes the exact figure for your gym.
No. Plan pricing and Adyen payment-processing rates are published, and your onboarding fee is quoted before you commit. There are no surprise add-on charges to unlock core features. If a number applies to your gym, you see it before you sign.
Plans come with a 12-month commitment, laid out before you start, with multi-year agreements available for Enterprise. The model is built on keeping you because the platform works, and the specifics for your gym are covered transparently during your demo and switching consult.
Payment processing runs through Adyen at competitive, published rates that vary by plan and region, with full reconciliation reporting included. The exact card-not-present and direct-debit rates for your region are listed on the pricing page, and card-present terminal rates are quoted on your demo.
Switching and onboarding
Switching is easier than most operators expect. A dedicated specialist runs the migration end to end, moving your members, billing history, and contracts for you. Most gyms go live in about two weeks; larger clubs or messier data take longer and are scoped upfront, so there are no surprises.
Yes. We migrate your member records, billing history, and contracts, and payment tokens transfer in staged, validated batches so billing keeps running without disruption. Nothing switches over until you have reviewed and approved it. Gold's Gym and Atlantis both moved their full membership bases off their old systems this way.
Most gyms are live in about two weeks. Onboarding is white-glove: a dedicated specialist maps and migrates your data, configures your account, and trains your team before go-live, so your staff start with working playbooks rather than a blank setup. Larger or multi-location rollouts are scoped to a realistic timeline upfront.
Very little changes for them. Members get your branded app, the same booking flows, and digital waivers from day one, and we time the cutover to your billing cycle so no one is double-charged or missed. The disruption happens behind the scenes, not on their phones.
Yes. FLiiP regularly migrates gyms off platforms like Mindbody, ABC Fitness, GymMaster, and Hapana, and we map your current plan and processing costs against FLiiP before you commit. See the comparisons or a side-by-side like FLiiP vs Mindbody.
Payments and billing
FLiiP processes payments through Adyen, a global, PCI DSS Level 1 certified processor. It supports credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank debits (PAD and EFT in Canada, ACH in the US, SEPA in Europe), plus card-present terminals at the desk. Everything reconciles to one member record and one ledger.
Yes, and this is where gyms often find hidden revenue. FLiiP refreshes expiring cards on file with Account Updater, retries failed charges intelligently for up to 48 days, and runs automated email, SMS, and AI-call collection sequences. Half of churn is just a declined card, and FLiiP recovers money most gyms quietly write off.
Members can pay by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and regional bank debit, online or in the app, and you can take card-present payments at the front desk and POS. Cards on file power automatic billing and the failed-payment recovery that keeps revenue from leaking.
Yes. A daily reconciliation report shows what was charged, what was deposited, and what is still outstanding, so you are never guessing about payouts. Front-desk and POS transactions sync to the same ledger automatically, with no manual end-of-day reconciliation.
FLiiP supports gyms across North America, the UK, and Europe, with regional payment methods and currency handling through Adyen. Processing rates are published per region on the pricing page.
Security and data
Yes. Payments run through Adyen, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified processor, which is the highest level, and FLiiP never stores raw card numbers, only secure network tokens. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The full security posture lives on our Security and Trust page.
FLiiP encrypts data in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256, runs on multi-zone cloud infrastructure with automated backups, and adds field-level encryption for personal information. Staff access is role-based with mandatory two-factor authentication and a full audit log of actions.
You own your gym's data. FLiiP provides data-export endpoints, and members have a right to erasure on request, so your information is never locked in. You can get your data out whenever you need it.
Yes. FLiiP is built to comply with GDPR in Europe, CCPA and CPRA in California, and PIPEDA in Canada, including right to erasure and data-export endpoints, with regional data-residency options. A SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress. Details are on the Security and Trust page.
FLiiP uses granular, role-based access control, so staff see only what their role needs, and two-factor authentication is mandatory for admin roles. Every staff action is recorded in an audit log, which gives multi-location operators a clear trail across clubs.
Multi-location and franchises
Yes. Multi-location support is built into the core, not bolted on. FLiiP uses a shared organization model with per-location drilldown, head-office playbook deployment, and consolidated billing. Gold's Gym runs two clubs on it, with consolidated billing and per-location drilldown.
FLiiP scales from a single gym to 25+ clubs on one platform, with rollup reporting and head-office controls for franchises and multi-location operators. The same system that runs one location runs a multi-country franchise, so you do not outgrow it as you expand.
Yes. Head office can deploy CRM playbooks, automations, and standards to every location at once, while each club keeps its own day-to-day view. That is how multi-location operators keep the member experience consistent without managing each site by hand.
Yes. FLiiP rolls revenue, retention, and payment health up across all locations and lets you drill into any single club, with billing you can view consolidated or split by location. See the franchises solution for how multi-location operators use it.
Integrations and API
FLiiP integrates natively with Adyen for payments and connects to Gantner and Passport Technology for access control, Google Ads and Meta for ad conversion tracking, Trainerize for PT programming, and Zapier for thousands of other apps. See the full list on the integrations page.
API access is available on request for Enterprise agreements, where we scope the endpoints and authentication you need. For everyone else, Zapier connects FLiiP to thousands of apps without code. There is no public self-serve API today; custom and API work is part of Enterprise plans.
Yes. FLiiP connects to Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for conversion tracking, so you can see which campaigns actually produce members, not just clicks. Leads from those channels flow straight into the CRM for automated follow-up.
Yes. Trainerize is a supported integration, so personal-training programming and coaching can run alongside FLiiP while membership, billing, and CRM stay in one place. We also help gyms consolidating away from a heavier stack decide what to keep, depending on your setup.
Support and training
Every plan includes 24/7 chat and email support. Phone support starts on the Perform plan, and same-day response depends on your plan. Support is in-house and never outsourced, and Enterprise plans add a dedicated success manager who understands gym operations.
Yes. FLiiP provides support in both English and French, with a North American team. French-speaking operators in Quebec and beyond get help in their own language, not through a translation layer.
Yes. Team training is part of onboarding. A dedicated specialist trains your staff on the workflows they will actually use, in parallel with the data migration, so everyone is ready before go-live rather than learning on the fly afterward.
Enterprise plans include a dedicated success manager who knows gym operations and works with you on rollout, expansion, and ongoing optimization. Other plans get FLiiP's in-house support team across chat, email, and phone, depending on tier.
